Camp Rules
1. Conserve Electricity. TURN OFF lights, Fans, AC when not in use. Additionally, please unplug anything you have personally plugged into an outlet while you're not physically on the camp grounds.
2. Conserve Water. Limit shower time to 4 minutes. Report any leaks or damaged pipes.
3. Reduce Noise at 10:00PM. Although noise levels should always be monitored, special attention to minimizing noise should be observed between the hours of 10pm & 7am (Sunday-Thursday) and 11pm - 7am (weekends).
4. No Fly Zones. Staff housing and tool buildings are restricted. No one should wander around these areas, especially after lights out. Additionally, T18 & La Paz staff have personal belonging containers located under a few of the bunk beds. Please do not go through or move any T18 or La Paz staff containers from under your bunk space.
5. Sent On Your Dime. CAMPERS WILL BE SENT HOME for any of the following problems: · Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any illegal substances · obscene language & blatant disrespect towards staff · Fighting · Vandalizing and Stealing of camp properties ·No volunteer should enter the room of any camper of the opposite sex at any time without authorization from group leaders. There are plenty of public gathering spaces. Please use them rather than seeking permission to enter the room of an opposite sex volunteer unless for emergency. In the case of emergency, make immediate contact with T18 and or La Paz management.
6. Just Ask First. Do not climb any trees, pick fruit, or break flowering plants around the grounds. Ask before doing so, any staff will be willing to help you
7. Don't Do It. Room furnishings may not be disassembled and moved to other locations. Public area furniture may be moved but needs to be placed back. (ie. Patio furniture or tables/chairs in the breezeway.)
8.Keep the grounds clean. Bins are everywhere. Place all trash in the bin nearest to you.
9. Be Respectful. We share the Camp grounds with others and must be respectful of their needs.
10. Got Problems? If you are having problems with anyone or with anything at La Paz, talk to your group leader or the T18 trip leader or camp director.
